Dear People reading this, I have every article on this web site about a slow shutdown. None of them have helped. Does anyone have any other suggestions that may fix my 10 min. shutdown? Also, I have a pop up virus that is going undetected by my virus program. Any thoughts on that? Thanks in advance! Thanks TaueArian, for that web site, but I have tried all of those things in the past and my computer still isn't shutting down properly. I think it has something to do with the undetectible pop-up virus that I have. Any idea how I could clean up a virus that's undetectible? Thanks in advance! First, what do you mean by "popup virus"? This could be the source of your problem. Q I mean that I have a virus, worm, trojan, whatever that causes this 1 pop up to come up on my screen when I start my computer. It connects to the Internet on its own.
