I have a temp. internet file that I can not do anything with. When i try to
open/delete the file it pops up a Microsoft Error message. The file name is
XILQG7WS. This has been going on for a week.. since this problem my comp has
gotten very slow.. when I try and scan it with my virus software the instant
it hits this file it goes unresponsive.. I am using AVG Grisoft 7.0
any clue?
Thanks

You can try the following:
Log on with the built-in Administrator account.
Note: To do this in Windows Home Edition, you'll have to start
the computer in Safe Mode.
Once you're logged on as the Administrator, run Windows
Explorer and navigate to C:\Documents and
Settings\(YourUserName)\Local Settings and delete the entire
Temporary Internet Files folder. A new one will be created when
you log back in with your user account.
While in Safe Mode, you might want to run your antivirus and
antispyware programs.
Good luck

Try running a full scan by AVG in safe mode. If it detects and removes
a virus turn System Restore on and off.

Hope this helps.
