Hi there, I was pretty sure Windows XP included a neat application which
would show all the programs, registry settings, ect. that are loaded during
startup. There were several tabs, and it allowed you to suppress them -
selectively or completely(this included drivers). I've used it a couple
months ago, and for the life of me, I can't
find it (or remember its name). I'm being futile in trying to locate. Any
help would be Greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I think you mean "msconfig" just type it in the run box, without quotes..
