Starting about a month ago, when I check for mail (clicking on the "Send/Recv" button) the small dialog box that shows progress of incoming or outgoing mail doesn't automatically close itself.  Instead, it remains open and states "The requested tasks were completed successfully".  I have to click on the "Hide" button to close it.

I feel it must be an option somewhere that inadvertently got set or changed.  I've looked at everything I think is appropriate to Outlook Express without luck.  I would appreciate some words of wisdom to clear this pesky problem.

Thanks in advance, John
