Windows XP HE Search Utility

As soon as you hit the "search" button, the utility "hangs" and task manager
shows the program "not responding".

What can be done to fix it & get it working again please?

 BB, go to Kelly's site  http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Select  S  and scroll to Search don't work.

Followed the links & procedures as suggested and ran the "install" process a
couple of time (rebooting both times) and not only did it not work but it
also  "reset" the quicklaunch toolbar at the bottom........I ran the copy
file process from my back-up XP HE CD, however, this was not of course
SP2....and the run process suggests copying from XP HE SP2. The file name
copied over  tho' is the same....  Any other ideas?
