Windows can't find this file on boot, is there anyway to install it? i can't
reinstall because i don't have the disck so what should i do?

OK, i installed Fedora with KDE is that any help? cani put hal into the
folder from KDE/Fedora?

Anybody, this is urgent. i need to get windows back.

A damaged boot.ini file is one possible cause of this error.

If that does not help you to resolve the issue then your next best
option is likely to be a Repair Install of Windows XP as per
