every time i try to install or uninstall a program(not microsoft) i get an error message 1606, which says windows installer could not access the network location. any help would be great! ou receive an "Error 1606" error message when you try to install or remove a Microsoft program http://support.microsoft.com/kb/886549  SignatureHope this helps.
