Shutdown problems

I can't seem to shutdown my computer still. It goes as far as the "windows is
shutting down". I assume there is a hangtime or it freezes. plz help me if
you can =/

Is your computer going into sleep mode at any point when you have this issue?

I'm experinencing an issue where mine wouldn't after 30 minutes so i
unfortunately had to force Vista and my computer off!

Trying to make a connection but this is one items that I noticed that could
influence my systems behavior
