I have recently started getting error messages re: my audio driver is not
installed properly, and my "PCI to CardBus Bridge" is not working properly.
When I try to reinstall the drivers for these (which, by the way, were
originally factory installed on my Pavilion dv4000 laptop) I get a message
that says they have not been tested for compatibility with Windows XP and
that I should not install the driver.  The laptop itself seems to work fine
without them... Anyone have any info for me on this?  BTW- When I checked the
Microsoft Hardware Compatibility List, it shows about 8,000 SoundMAX audio
drivers and there's no way I can tell which one is mine, as no numbers/names
seem to match up.

Do you download the drivers off www.hp.co.uk?

No, from the HP USA site.  Is there a difference?
