common virus email , been around for a while.
seems it has recently surfaced gain.

 I just deleted a Hotmail email purportedly coming from Microsoft.  It
 had a "deleted" attachment, that Hotmail said contained a virus.  Most
 reliable ISP mail services scan their emails with some sort of virus
 scanner, but it is always possible that one might slip by.

 The Subject was "The last Microsoft Security Update required" and the
 body alluded to the attachment which "must be run immediately to take
 care of *all known* (emphasis mine) security leaks in Internet Explorer
 5.0 up, Word, Outlook and Outlook Express".  This is quite a claim.  The
 body also has all the usual Microsoft images and links, and most of them
 end up at apparent valid MS pages, but some of them are not.

 If you see this email, just delete it.
