Dear Sir,

I am using Dell Dimension 4600 PC with Window XP (Home) Edition OS.

I could set my PC capable of hibernating by going to  Control Panel >
Performance & Maintenance > Power Options > Hibernate > Tick Enable.

However, I could not find the Hibernate Button after  I clicked  at Start >
Turn Off Computer buttons

I could only find the Stand By button. Does it mean that XP Home OS  does
not support hibernating ?

If the answer is no, may I know how to execute this function ?

Thanks

Low

Hi

At the shutdown dialogue, press the shift key.
