display problem

through my display appear a white line, at power on. i tray change
resolution, and display settings VGA, power settings, is there some one how
can help me please in this matter?

If this happens immediately after you power on your laptop, I'd say it's
hardware problem. If this happens while working in Windows, you probably have
a driver issue. I recommend you to download the latest drivers from Sony web
site.

One of the row or column driver chips may have given up and died.  Have
a professional look at it.  If it appears throughout the
turn-on/boot/run cycle, then I'd say that is the trouble.
