Looks like you Citrix "client" software may be damaged. One possible
fix is to un-install the Citrix client and re-install it. However,
make sure that you "de-activate" / "shut off" the Nortan Anti-Virus
"scanning" during the uninstall and reinstall. Sometimes the Norton
Anti-virus system can "block" the writing of files to the hard drive,
especially the ones it deems to be "virus like," eventhough you are
expresively installing those.

I have tried re-install as suggested. For few minutes this seemed to work
but then the same thing happened again i.e. a "peep" and a complete shut
down of the system.
Maybe the second last error report give more clues. As I have a Norwegian
operative system on my PC the following is in translation from Norwegian.
This report states following:
LoadPerf
"String value for the name of the output (or performance) counter in the
register is in a wrong format. The uncorrect string is 3604, the uncorrect
index value is the first DWORD in the Data-section while the last valid
index values are the second and third DWORD in the Data-section".
It should be noted that this is a relativily new problem as I have used
Citrix successfully on this PC for 2 years.
I have also used the system reset function in Windows without success but
may not be able to go sufficiently far back in time.
Any more suggestion on the cause.
