Is there a way for me to find out my ID and Password on my D-link 624 router? This utility can find the user name and password for my Linksys router. You might want to see if it works with your D-Link. But I must admit (after this all installed perfectly normally)I do not see how to USE this program. Any quick ideas? If it's not listed, you probably didn't elect to save the password when you accessed the router's configuration page. If that's the case, I know of no other way to retrieve the password. Your only option may be to reset the router to its factory defaults. As hstamm pointed out in his reply, that's done by hitting the reset button on the back of the router. You will then be able to use the user name and password listed in the router's manual to obtain access. The manual should be on a CD that came with the router. Keep in mind that this also means resetting any wireless security you previously set up. Take a look here for more information. Click on Manual in the left hand column if you don't have the CD. The best way is to reset your router to the factory default and start new to setup you router including a new password. To reset the router please refer to your manual but most properly you have to press a small key, for a few seconds, on the back of your router.
