Is there a way for me to find out my ID and Password on  my D-link 624
router?

The ID and PW which I wrote down some time ago does not seem to work when I
use Network Magic.

This utility can find the user name and password for my Linksys router. You
might want to see if it works with your D-Link.

IE PassView v1.06

Good luck

Thanks a lot. I downloaded the freeware program and installed it. But I must
admit (after this all installed perfectly normally)I do not see how to USE
this program. Any quick ideas?

Thanks in advance

When you run IE PassView, it may list an entry for 192.168.0.1. If it's not
listed, you probably didn't elect to save the password when you accessed the
router's configuration page.

If that's the case, I know of no other way to retrieve the password. Your only
option may be to reset the router to its factory defaults. As hstamm pointed out
in his reply, that's done by hitting the reset button on the back of the router.
You will then be able to use the user name and password listed in the router's
manual to obtain access. The manual should be on a CD that came with the router.
Keep in mind that this also means resetting any wireless security you previously
set up.

Take a look here for more information. Click on Manual in the left hand column
if you don't have the CD.

Hi

I like to think there is no way to find your forgotten password as this
password is part of your security and therefore encrypted.
The best way is to reset your router to the factory default and start new to
setup you router including a new password.
To reset the router please refer to your manual but most properly you have
to press a small key, for a few seconds, on the back of your router.

If you do not have a manual you can download on from this link;
