When I run Disk Clean Up, the item Webclient/Publisher Temporary Files always shows 32kb of files that can safely be deleted but they will not disappear when I tick the box. How can I clear it please? Hi, Open a run command and type in: services.msc click [OK] on the services control panel locate this service and disable it. WebClient < double click it and disable the start option. Reboot your machine, then run disk cleanup, does it help? Well it got rid of the item alltogether and after a disk cleanup and reboot it did not appear but when I disabled it in services I got a message warning me that some web functions would not now perform so I renebled it and blow me, when I came to disk clean again it had re-appeareared with the original 32kb of temporary files. Does that mean that the 32kb are perhaps essential temporary files that do not increase? That's normal to have 32KB for webclient Cache, i will not be worried about this as long as other temp and compressed files are cleaned your machine not likely to be junked.
