sfc /scannow

tryed to run above,asks for xp sp2 disc,i only have sp1 disc
so tryed copy file I386 from disc to c: , and changed reg key
source path to c:
still askes for disc,

where do i go nex

The source path should read the same as youre cdrom that has xp cd
installed in,plus the IstallationSources should have the same text..

I386 is on c: source path is on c:

ran again just kept clicking retry it appeared to work though to end
then
went of sceen, is this normal or should you get message, complete
succesfull
ect

It's been awhile since I've ran SFC and I can't remember getting a message, it just did
it's thing and disappeared.
