Can you boot into Safe Mode?

Take the hard drive out and slave it up to a friends computer using a USB to
2.5 IDE adapter and run an anti-virus product and some spyware/adaware
scanners over the drive to clean it up. Install HDD back into the laptop and
see if it will allow you access. I'm sure others will post possible
solutions as well.

It does the same in both safe mode and normal. It does it in all safe modes.
I thought about taking the labtop apart and doing the HDD swap. Just didnt
want to mess up thier systems. I have the Norton Corp and it didnt catch
this virus. I used the online version and still nothing. I used McAfee and
it found it plus a online Dr PC. First time Norton has failed me.
I was just trying to get into DOS without having to log on. Pissed me off
that is has me logging in when I never did before. Is there a way to do this
without tearing my laptop apart?
