How can I put text over a photo (or clip art picture)? If
I have to use a text box, how can I make the text box
transparent, so that only the text shows on top of the
photo (or clip art picture), without making the text box
a visible rectangle on top of the picture? This was so
easy to do in Windows 98; but I can't find the features
required to do it in Windows XP.
Thanks!

Some Image Editors will allow you to type text directly on an image. What
Image Editor do you use? Some DTP programs such as MS publisher will allow
you to add a transparent text box.

Actually, you can do this in MS Paint.
Start button / All Programs / Accessories /
Paint.
If you open Paint and search the help file
for Text...it explains how to do it.
