I usually view my pics using windows pic viewer because the icons for rotating zooming and next pic make viewing pics much easier. Somehow the icons are gone now. I can still see next pic using the keyboard shortcut, but it's a pain in the butt. How can i get those icons back? First time I see this problem and I am not sure if the fix below will work but try it anyway, it will not mess your computer. Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox: REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL and press the Enter key.
