When I click on "Reply (E-mail)", this forum, a window
pops up that says "Microsoft Internet Explorer-Could not
perform this operation because the default mail client is
not properly installed."  I don't know what this means or
what I should do about it.  Can you tell me what to do?

Maybe this will help:

How do I make OE my default mail client?
Go to Start | Run and type the following:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg
(Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure that is correct)

Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools / Internet Options /
Programs and set OE as the default mail (and news) program.
