Cannot burn photos to CD

I have followed all available instructions and still cannot burn my digital
photos to CD. Any ideas??

Here's some info on creating CDs with WinXP:

Also...I'm guessing you must have a CD-RW drive?
And you installed some software for it?

Example...I use Roxio CD Creator 6...

Open your burning program and create a Data CD.

I'm a newbie.  When a copying or saving question is answered in this
newsgroup, does the answer also apply to doing the same on a dvd?
