I have made a wmv file with Photstory 2.O including the "Custom" resolution file for 800x600.  My Dell laptop has a 1ghz pentium iii chip. At full screen the video is excellent using Windows Media Player when played off my hard disk, but when played from the CD I made with Photostory it loses resolution at full screen. I have made several copies using different CD brands without success.  My computer display is set for 1400x1050.  I always tried it at 800x600.  No luck.
How can I get good full screen resolution from the CD

Second question. Is there anyway to eliminate the top and bottom borders from full screen Windows Media Player 9.0

Thanks!  Jim

Do you have settings within your CD burning software? Have you read the documentation
that came with your application?

I am not using any special CD burning software that I am aware of.  Photostory 2.0 has "Burn VCD" button that I execute

Thanks, Mary.

The answer is simple. You can't play a Photo Story file ( .wmv)  from a CD.
You need to copy the file from your CD back to your hard drive. Then play
this file from your hard drive. Reading a .wmv file from a CD is too slow to
give you a high resolution image.
