I would like to change the file association of my .JPG files, so that they
automatically open with the WindowsXP Picture and Fax Viewer (at the moment,
they open with Kodak Easy Share (bundled with my camera), which takes ages
to load, whereas the Viewer loads instantaneously).  I've done similar
things in the past through the folder options in Windows Explorer, by
browsing for the executable I want.  I can't find Picture and Fax Viewer
though.  Please can anyone help?

=================================
Try this:

Right click a .jpg and from the menu...choose...
Properties / General tab / Change button...
From the list...select...Windows Picture and Fax Viewer...
OK / Apply / OK...

If you cannot find Windows Picture and Fax Viewer...

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"
