In "My Pictures", I am unable to rename any of the file folders as of about a month ago. This applies to both "New Folder"s and existing ones.I have quite a number of large photo files and am wondering if this problem is somehow related to the number of images I currently have stored; however, my hard drive is nowhere near being full.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I'm thinking there's a possibility that your User
Account is corrupted. It may be worth a try to
create a new one:

Also...does this issue only occur in your My
Pictures folder? Do you receive an error
message?

I've seen a similar issue on Win2000 involving
Caere OmniPage Pro v9.0...do you have any of
their software installed on your computer?

Here's the Win2000 article if you would like
to read it:
