I have a Sony cybershot camera and it used to work fine whenever I plugged
it into the USB port the removeable drive would appear.
Now when I plug in the camera the small icon in the task bar appears and the
camera goes into PC mode but the drive does not show.
I am running windows XPpro and I do not have Real Player installed.

Can anyone please offer me some ideas on what I should do next.

Thanks,
Fred

If you right click on this small icon in your taskbar, what do you get?

I have the exact same problem.  Recently I tried to
install a scanner, and I think that has something to do w
ith it - but still can't get the wizard back myself.  I
have XP home edition.
