adobe photedeluxe

I have previously (2 weeks ago)used adobe photo deluxe to convert photos from
jpeg format to pdf format. This past weekend while trying to do that again,
to get them ready for a printer to put them on a calender, I received an
error message, and adobe shut down without finishing the conversion.
I have downloaded the service package (11/16).
This is quite frustrating. I went to adobe's page was unable to find a
solution there.

The error message is as follows
"Photo deluxe home edition executable has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvienience"
Error signature: AppName:pd4exe AppVer 1.1.128.0
ModName:pd4.exe ModVer1.1.128.0
Offset 000c84d9
This error message and more detailed info about the problem was also sent to
microsoft.

Adobe has some support documents, according to their web site they no longer support
PhotoDeluxe 4.0. Input 4.0 into the search on the right.

There was a patch in 2000...
