Hi!! I was downloading a bunch of photos from a website
and I get a error message "The operation failed because
of 8007ffff" Why?
I guessed it might have something to with my RAM.
Also something is very puzzling to me, my memory card
says 512MB. But when I right-click on My Computer and
then Properties it says 504MB RAM. Also when I press Ctrl-
Atl-Del and then click Performance it says 515564 under
Physical Memory. This is very confusing. Why is there a
difference?

Thank You
Thomas

Can't help you with the confusion about memory, however if you empty your cache your
problems with saving the images should go away. Right-click your browser icon,
properties, delete files or with IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.

Hi Dear ...

The ‘error 8007ffff’ problem is one which has persisted since the days of
Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 4. I’ve seen mention of it from a lot of
people, and they’ve been using the entire range of Windows and Internet
Explorer versions. I’ve not, however, seen adequate explanation of what
causes it or why.

by the way it was my problem , i have 1GB RAM with Windows XP SP2 & Internet
Explorer 7.

Amongst those people who have resolved the problem, the following techniques
are consistently mentioned:

- Clear the Internet Cache. (Tools, Internet options, delete files)
- Repair or Uninstall/Reinstall Internet Explorer, via Add/Remove Programs.
- Uninstall MSN Add-Ons, if they are installed.
- Refresh the MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) by downloading and
installing them from http://tinyurl.com/6k6ko
- If you’ve recently (prior to the problem arising) added any fancy graphics
programs, particularly ‘freebies’, they may be interfering with the GDI
(Graphical Device Interface). Try uninstalling them.
