Just created a 'Story' from a picture. It was saved in a wmv format. How can I convert it to an avi or mpg format? Run it through Movie Maker to a DV-AVI file. No, if you didn't save the project (WP3) file, then you have to build it all again... or live with the final video file saved from it.
