i have a 256 mb sd card.  i use it in my camera.  i have had it for almost a
year. it has never given me any trouble.  monday, i put the card in my usb
reader, and opened the removable disk drive to open the folder that contained
the pictures.  i didn't realize it at the time, but i renamed the folder on
the memory card, and then clicked 'send to', for it to go to the cd-rw drive.
when the folder came up on the cd-rw drive, it was empty.  so i deleted it,
closed the window and went back to the window with the original folder.  it
was empty too!  i thought it might be a glitch, so i closed the window, took
the usb reader out of the port, and reconnected it.  it never let me open it
again.  all it does is hourglass.  the usb reader is okay, i used another
card in it, and it opened it, no problem.  i really need the pictures on that
card.  is there some way to fix this?  i'm desperate.

Maybe the files are corrupted. There's a
possibility that you can recover the files
from the card using the download at the

Good luck.

I downloaded the program, but it wouldn't let me pull up the F drive.  It was
fine as long as I didn't have the SD card in the reader.  It would pull up
fine.  And I scanned my C Drive, to test the program.  I even tried inserting
the USB reader, opening the program, clicking on the F Drive, and then
inserting the SD card, but it locks up the program, it won't do anything.
