From the beginning, I'm nothing to do with Google,  I'm from Oz
For those people that like mucking around with all their hundreds of digital
photos this program is quite remarkable. Firstly it's free !! It does
everything you can ask for and more. Do yourselves a favour and have a look.

Even if you were from google, nobody would mind as Picasa is truely a
wonderful product. Most importantly giving out info about a genuinely
free software cannot be classified as commercial advertisement...

Nevertheless Picasa has been mentioned on these newsgroups many times in
past.

It really is good!  I downloaded it an hour ago and have been cleaning files
since.

It is really good, but be careful with it.
Don't rename folder names with it.
If you do, the new name will be fine in Picasa.
If you open Explorer (My Computer) to see the folder name, the new name you
entered in Picasa will be truncated to the first 7 or 9 characters you see
in Picasa.
