unable to copy/cut + paste

Last week had a virus.Now cleaned up + all ok, but now I'm unable to
copy/move photos/files between folders/onto CD. Files highlight OK, so does
clicking on copy/cut, but when I click paste in second folder, nothing
happens. If I do it a second time, comes up with the windows box in the
middle saying"cannot copy XXXX:the requested resource is in use"

Loooong shot...

Open an IE window and go to...
Tools / Internet Options / Security tab /
Custom Level button....

Scroll down to:

Drag and drop or copy and paste files
(be sure this option is enabled)

It's also possible that you have some
