The images are just system icons with no image of the actual pics. There are
no properties for the images either. They were fine until I saved them to the
CD. The CD had the images the same way; just the system icons. Now I can't
even find them on the CD.
Thanks
Give us the exact name of one of these files, including the extinction. It
should be something like:
filename.jpg
If you do not see .jpg after the filename click on the folder name and then
on Tools on the top bar and folder options. Then click on the View tab and
scroll down and remove the check for Hide extensions....
At least this would give us an idea that you have the proper extension and
not something that may have been added by a virus.
Also, give us the size of these files in KB. Is the size zero?

I am now having a similar issue. I burnt a backup of my Pics to a CD using
Roxio. teh name of the finle is fine until you go to open it. Thumbnails
tdo now show a picture and when you click to open you get a little white box
with a red. How do I fix this.
