==========================================
Unless you have extremely low resolution images...
rotating them will do no harm and even then you
would probebly have to rotate them several times
before you could visibly detect any loss..
To reset the Rotate dialog...try the following...
Open an image in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer...
Hold your Ctrl key and close the viewer...(X on titlebar)
You should see a dialog that says:
"Any rotation warnings that you may have suppressed
have been reset, and may appear again when you
rotate a picture."
Now you may need to run the following command:
Go to...Start / Run and type
(or copy/paste):
"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)
Click...OK.
A dialog box should report the following:
"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"
Try rotating your pictures...

John:
Thank you so much. We didn't have to go any further than the first
direction to open a photo and X out while holding down the Ctrl key. We got
the dialogue box and from there on in, it worked. You are our hero!
Thanks again,
Lori

My pleasure to provide the update. It's such a relief to have an annoying
computer glitch solved. It's greatly appreciated. :)
