Have tried to set this up both via the Printers and Faxes screen and the
Add/Remove Programms screen and in both it complains that it can not copy
files from my winXP Home edition SP1 cd. Possibly because I have SP2, so I
pointed it towards my "ServicePackFiles" directory in my Windows directory
and still it brought up an erorr saying can not copy?

When I look in the System32 directory there are alreay 24 fx.... named files
in there including the ones it complained could not be copied. So when I ran
the install fax again it did not complain about not copying files but I saw
the fax icon appear in the Printers and Faxes window and then disapear when
the installation was complete!

Have included the log file for this here if anyone can make sense of this ???

www.mmcr.co.uk/FaxSetup.log

Thanks in advance, as been tryign to send this fax for a week now!

Yes It was a curupted security database as mentioned in this list. SoI took
the advice given on the list and ran this command in the Run window

esentutl /p %windir%\security\database\secedit.sdb

and restarted windows and then I could install the fax application!

Though after sending a fax I tried to view it and it said I had nothing on
my system to view a fax!  Any idea how to point it towards the "Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer" ???
