Got i9900. Never had any trouble installing printers until now. the
canon cd installs the user guide and then when it gets to the "printer
connection window" (here i turn the printer on). the "help" button does
not work nor does the "cancel" button. This install setup will not stop
so i cannot restart the computer. Finally i was able to exit the
install program and restarted the computer after uninstalling whatever
printer files were installed and the same problem occurs. The screen
"new hardware wizard" keeps popping up relentlessly  -as soon as you
cancel it a few seconds passes and then the window appears again with
the notation "system can't find file". i have windows xp and sp1 and am
in administrator mode. the computer is dell 4600c.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?  I have the printer
drivers for a hp photosmart printer on the hd but i don't think they
pose a problem.
