I have had no problem with the Microsoft Picture It
software. I have always had problems with the Lexmark
but it somewhat worked with the XP until a few weeks ago
when it suddenly disappeared from my printers and fax
under control panel. I uninstalled the Lexmark and
reinstalled it but it is not working properly. I always
had the Microsoft Picture It as a default but the option
disappeared. Now when I try to send a picture or doc thru
email, a message block comes up that says "feature that
you are trying to use is not available. Insert Microsoft
Picture It 2001 disk and do setup. It has always been my
default. Under Start, Programs the Microsoft Picture It
is stilll listed that it is still there. (If I didn't
uninstall it, then how would it disappear?...What is up
with that? And what should I do to fix it. I also need
to know how to set it as the printer default. I
reinstalled the Lexmark several times before it ever
showed up under programs. Also what print processor
should I set up for the XP. wfxPrint2000, Lexmark or
WinPrint and what default type. Is there an update to
make the Lexmark more compatible with the XP and how
should I proceed from here to reinstall or install the
Lexmart X73 and also the Microsoft Picture It...Any
solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so
much. KJ

It's a Lexmark. Did you COMPLETELY uninstall and reinstall correctly...
Disconnect printer from PC... follow the instructions at Bruce Sanderson's
website at
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm
Download a new set of software from www.lexmark.com
Install software BEFORE reconnecting printer... the software will TELL you
when to reconnect.

How do I see if someone answered a reply? Every time I
try to send email I still get the error message that
windows is trying to install. It seems to be connected
to the spell check feature somehow. How do I change this
setting so I can fix this problem?
