I would like to connect to multiple PCs behind the same
router. Should I just change the ports on the host PC and
if so how do I specify what ports to use when I am trying
to connect with the remote computer?

Yes, you can change the ports on each host PC and then
forward that port from the router.

You specify the port you use by adding :<port> to the
server you want to connect to.  For example, if I want to
specify port 5555 on the client, I'd enter
123.45.67.89:5555 or myservername.org:5555 on the client.
