A buddy and myself are doing a networking course thru work and VPN's are a topic not too far off.
So we managed to get two XP Pro machines connecting (him cable, me adsl), but i'm not shure what he should
be ale to see of my comp. I have a few shared directories coz i'm running a small lan, should he see these?

Tia.

Probably not...  You can access them directly, but you shouldn't be
able to browse to them..  This is due to the fact that no WINS server
is available with an XP-based VPN.
