I have an XP Pro machine with 2 NICs. 1 Connected to a cable modem,
the other connected to my lan.  The cable modem connection is being
shared across the network so that all computers have internet access.

I have installed all the components needed  for "Remote Desktop Web
Connection" to the XP machine from a remote location...can i get it to
work...can i heck!?!!?!!

I get the error "The page cannot be found"

Firewall has been disabled

I get the same error coming across the LAN or trying it remotely.  Has
it got anything to do with Internet Connection Sharing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

cheers
Si

Did you forward the Port 3389 on the server?
