I activated demote desktop on 4 machine in my SOHO network
(no domain, just a workgroup and a router for connection to the Intenet
via ISDN).

On one of the machines, accessing is not possible.
when I use the client (on another machine) to log in,
I get the error message

The system could not log you on.
Make sure your USer name and domain are correct,
then type your oassword again.
Letters in passwords must be typed using the correct case.

I did type the correct password, and I am not on a domain.
It works on 3 other machines.

Can anybody help me making remote desktop active on this machine?

Are you connecting the correct machine?? This could be the only reason for
not allowing you to logon with the error message you mentioned.
