I am trying to get my office laptop to connect to our
office network over my home wireless network and internet
connection.  I can get the laptop to access the internet
through my XP desktop OK but the VPN client will not
connect.  I probably need to set up something in XP ICS to
pass the VPN traffic but can't find any guidance. I have
tried disabling the ICF but that did not help. Can anyone
help?

If you've disabled ICF and it still isn't working, it isn't the problem. In
addition, since ICF doesn't block any outbound ports, and you don't need
anything open inbound to use VPN, it isn't the problem.

What kind of VPN are you using? Whose client? Have you tried a direct
Ethernet connection to isolate the problem without the wireless network
being involved?
