It was working fine until the xp worm virus patch was done.

Error message I get is

Remote Desktop Disconnectedd

the client could not connect to the remote computer

Remote connection might not be enabled or the computer
might be too busy to accept new connections.

It is also possible that network problems are preventing
your connection.

What I've checked....

remote desktop is enabled on the host side.
I can ping the host from home.

Any I dea's?

thanks,

MN

Maybe that patch automatically enables the built in XP Internet Connection
Firewall.  I doubt it but
it worth checking.

Under the Advanced tab of the Local Area Connection Properties.
