I have setup both machines to accept Remote Assistance.  X machine is in the
states and Y machine is in the UK.  Both running XP Pro.  When either machine
sends the request via messenger, the other party accepts the invitation and
NOTHING HAPPENS.  it doesn't give an error nor does it open up a new window
or anything.  we both are still able to use our own computers but nothing
happens with respect to the Remote Assistance.

Please help.  I have tried Remote Desktop (to no avail) and many other
resources, this would seem like the easiest to solve though.

Publically accessible IPs or properly forwarded ports through the
firewalls/NAT Routers?
