When I log onto another users machine using remote desktop - they cannot see
what I am doing.  Our govt agency as with most, will not allow using Instant
Messenger which I know would work.

Is there someway or something I can change so that I can log onto other
folks computers using Remote Desktop here at my agency and they can see what
I'm doing so I can show them how to do things?

Look at using Remote Assistance which is help desk type function. Go to
"Help and Support" and search on the string 'remote assistance' for further
information and/or see this...

> Try net meeting.  If you do not have an icon go to Run and type conf and OK.  If your net meeting hasn't been activated; type in the name blocks and the email address; on next page uncheck "names in directory server";next page uncheck the icon pacements;  next page select "local area network", click next, next, next, finish (u will not need all of the sound, etc.)  The Net Meeting dialogue box will open click Help, About Windows Net Meeting and make note of your IP address.  Now have your co-workers do the same.  If you want them to see your desktop give them your IP to type in the top box with Net Meeting open and to click on the telephone, it will call you, click accept, the names will pop up in the box, click on the hand with the folder(bottom left corner); a window will come up, click desktop, share, allow control (if you desire), automatically accept request for control, and close.   Now you and he/she can share the desktop.
