Hi,
I was able now to connect. No idea what the problem was, since I've
changed nothing.
I can use my printer in the office since the software connects to it
through the ip address, but I cannot connect to my computer.
I think it's a windows configuration problem. There is no server in
this network, so no domain. Just a workgroup.
I'm trying to moung a shared folder but i can't. I think it has to do
with the wins server. How do I configure it in a workgroup? Can I mout
drives through ip addresses?
Thanks.

Hi,
I just tried lmhosts, and ip mount. Both did not work. I keep getting
network path not found.
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

Hi,
Just an update.
I still cannot map any drive, but I can ftp the computer.
I don't get why mapping does not work. I've enabled Netbios on both
computers. The share i'm testing is open for all users and still no
success.
In my office the shares work fine. Is it my home computer the problem?
Thanks.

Hi,
Gave up the vpn connection the way i was doing before and now I'm
trying with modeconfig.
It got worse. Although I connect to the VPN and receive an ip address,
I can't ping the computers.
Here is what I have now:

It's working now. I had to turn the DHCP in the company's router on.
And I installed NETBEUI.
