I am running Win XP 2003 server with a Dell 5012 switch connected to the
switch is a Netopia Wireless DSL router.  I am running multiples desktops
with XP Pro that are wired I can RDP with no problem with these boxes.  I
have (2) Dell Laptops that I connect to the Domain via wireless.  I can log
on to the Domain with no problem I can see other clients via My Network
places I can ping ip's on network I can ping server but I cannot connect RDP
to the server.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in
advance for the help!!!!

Any chance your restricting incoming RDP requests on the server to specific
IP's or an IP range that excludes those two clients?

I believe that this forum is where this thread shoud be.  I have not set up
any policies yet.  So I do not think that is the issue.

Anything in the logs on the server when you try to connect? Any error
messages on the client when it fails?

What area of event viewer would that be located in?

I can't speak to the server side but the client should log to the
applications log.

Can either of the laptops connect to another server or XP Pro desktop with
Remote Desktop?

If it comes down to an issue with the server I suggest posting to the
microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services or
microsoft.public.windows.server.networking news groups for help...
