I have a major problem and in dire need of help....high speed! I just
switched to a Zhone 6212 ADSL2 modem from a DIA (Direct Internet Access )
connection. The problem is I can no longer connect to my server using RDC.
I've looked and changed, almost at all the appropriate configuration settings
to no avail. My ISP claims that there's no way around this, probably because
they want me to switch back to the more expensive DIA - $1,800/month. Zhone,
the makers, says that my ISP is a customer of theirs and that I have to go
thru them, the ISP, with my concerns and refuse to give me and help.
Meanwhile my ISP isn't budging. There's no way in the world that a modem such
as this cannot be configured to allow Remote Desktop Connections. I think I
am being taken for a ride and Zhone should be ashamed to have clients who
mislead their customers. Can anyone please help me with this? I know it must
be just a simple configuration change. Thanks to anyone out there who's tired
of seeing the small guy being jerked around.

Hi--
How did reinstalling the RDP client work out? Did that resolve the problem?
