Hi:
I have dual monitors on my work XP Pro x64 PC.
I have dual monitors on my home XP pro PC.

I can't get remote desktop Connection to span both of the monitors at home,
when I connect to work.

I've changed my *.rdp to set the horizontal resolution to 3200.
(each monitor is 1600x1200) on both setups.
This doesn't work.

I've seen notes saying spanning isn't supported for x64. I've seen notes
that say it is.

Can anyone clarify this, and hopefully tell me how to make this work?

I use XP x64 (with multiple monitors) to RD into an XP x86 laptop and can
confirm it works. I'm not sure why it's not working for you, but all I had
to do was manually edit (with Notepad) the .rdp file so it contained:

desktopwidth:i:3200
desktopheight:i:1024

Make sure you have the latest version of the RDP software
(6.0.....something?) on both ends.

Note that this doesn't run in fullscreen mode across both monitors; it just
creates a window that can be resized up to the specified resolution.

There's also a /SPAN command-line switch, but that didn't work out for me as
(if I remember the docs correctly) this only works well when all monitors
have the same resolution, which isn't true in my case.
