On computer A (Windows XP),  I activate remote desktop.
I manage the router

On my laptop (vista), I connect to computerA from many LAN or WIFI over WAN.

From my boss laptop (vista, same brand an model as mine), I can'ty access to
computer A. the client get time out and i get the message "can't connect to
remote client". From my boss computer, I'm able to telnet computerA on 3389,
I'm able to connect to other Windows 2003 terminal server. Only this specific
computer doesn't connect to.

I tried with my laptop, on the same WIFI box, and it works well.

I tried from a Windows 2003 server on the same LAN as my boss laptop and it
works fine.

Any ideas ?

Have you added you're boss as a remote user on the XP machine (same section
you activate "Remote Desktop") or are you logging on to the remote machine
with the same a/c on both your bosses and your PC?

I just had the "netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled"
and it works

so simple and evident !

I forgot I did it on my computer.
That was the only difference between our computers.
