I'm connecting to a remote machine (XP Pro) that has a multi-monitor
adaptor. When I connect to it using remote desktop client, the "wrong"
monitor is appearing in the client view - i.e. I'm not seeing the
desktop/start button/task bar, I'm seeing an application that we have
running full screen on one of the other monitors..
Anyone know of why this is happening and how I can get round it?
TIA
Dave

Hi Dave,

You can always try mstsc /span form the run line. This will allow remote
desktop to span across two monitors.

Ed

Hi Ed,
From what I've read about that, it means span two monitors on the
client from a single monitor on the host, doesn't it?
That's not my problem - I've got four monitors on the host and one on
the client. I need to get to the desktop monitor on the host.
